Rohan Agarwal is the founder of Illumineye Communications LLP, a boutique media and communications firm specialising in strategic communication, perception management, creative communication, social media management, political consulting, and more. From giving police departments a new digital identity to crafting compelling narratives for brands and political leaders, Rohan’s ideas have driven some of the most viral and meaningful digital campaigns across India.

He serves as a media and social media consultant to police departments, government departments, the Indian Army, ministers, businesses, and prominent public figures.
Known for countless witty, hard-hitting and creative social media posts, Rohan combines creativity with sharp strategy. He has consistently led citizen-centric initiatives and public safety campaigns that have resonated deeply with people. His strategic insights have powered successful political campaigns and even helped revive a pandemic-hit restaurant in Michigan, USA. During COVID-19, he played an instrumental role at UP112, where he leveraged social media to coordinate the delivery of life-saving medicines, food, and rations to lakhs of citizens.
His work has been widely featured in national and international media, and was showcased on the official page of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’.
Rohan has helped clients gain over 1 billion organic followers and has trained more than 10,000 police personnel across India in OSINT, social media investigation, social media response, and and strengthening the public–police interface on digital platforms.
In 2025, his wildlife awareness campaign Save for later was selected among the 100 Great Ads For Good globally and featured at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, as well as international platforms like Ads of the World and AdForum.
Rohan served as the only Indian among the international Jury of Creatives for the ACT Care Awards 2025, organised in collaboration with the European Association of Communication Agencies (EACA) and in partnership with the European Parliament.
He also provides pro bono advisory support to grassroots NGOs and non-profits in animal welfare and climate action, helping them strengthen communication, outreach, and impact.
Academically inclined, he is often invited as a guest speaker at the Delhi Police Academy and educational institutions. His passion for mentoring continues through Rough Copy, an online course that helps students and freshers hone skills in copywriting, storytelling, and digital communication.
Rohan holds a B.Sc. (HHA), an MBA in Human Resource and Industrial Relations, a Bachelor of Law, and is UGC-NET qualified in Human Resource Management.
